Six kinds of shade, every one cut to the opening it covers and finished in the fabric you picked in your own light.
Most people arrive knowing they want “a shade” and not much else. That is the right place to start, because the decision that matters is not the color — it is how much light you want left in the room at two in the afternoon, and how much you want blocked at ten at night.
Answer that and the rest narrows quickly. A designer walks the rooms with you, works out which of these six behaves the way you want, and brings the samples that suit it.
The quietest treatment there is. One flat panel of fabric, any opacity from sheer to blackout, and nothing on show when it is up.

Soft folds that stack at the head of the window. The choice when you want fabric in the room but not a full drapery treatment.

Grasses, reeds, and bamboo woven into a shade. Texture and a warm filtered light, with an optional liner where you need privacy.

Honeycomb cells that trap air against the glass. The best insulator we sell, and the one that pays for itself on a west-facing wall.

An open weave that cuts glare and heat but keeps the view. Specified by openness factor, from 1% to 14%.

Alternating sheer and solid bands that slide past each other, so one shade gives you a filtered view or full privacy.
See the range →How much daylight do you want in the room when the shade is down? This is the first thing we ask, and it is the one that eliminates half the range immediately.
Privacy and light are not the same choice. A solar shade can keep the view out and still let silhouettes through after dark, which matters on a ground floor or a street-facing bedroom.
West and south walls carry the load here. Cellular shades insulate best; solar shades cut glare and heat gain while keeping the view; a lined roman does more than an unlined one.
Cordless is standard on anything within reach of a child. Above a stair, behind a sofa, or over a sixteen-foot window, motorization stops being a luxury.
Inside the recess shows the trim and the architecture. Outside it covers a bad frame, blocks more light at the edges, and makes a small window read larger. We decide this at the measure.
Complete the window with a custom cornice: a rigid top treatment that frames the opening, conceals the headrail and roll, and gives it a finished look. Clean contemporary lines or a decorative profile, in poly or driftwood, painted to match your walls or finished in white.
Linens, flax blends, woven grasses, and performance weaves that hold their color in Florida light. A designer brings the ones that suit your rooms; these are a starting point.

Rechargeable, hardwired, or solar, on a remote, a wall keypad, a phone, or a schedule. We program and test every motor on installation and show you how to run it before we leave.
Lutron is our premium motorization option for shades and drapery tracks: quiet, precise, and made to work with the rest of the home.
About motorized shadesNo, and we would rather you didn't. Every opening is measured by the designer who is specifying the treatment, which is what makes the fit ours to guarantee.
It depends on the fabric and where it comes from. Your quote states the lead time for the exact specification you chose, and we confirm it again when the order is placed.
Very often that is the right answer — a shade doing the work of light and privacy, drapery doing the work of softening the room. We design the pair together so the stack heights line up.
Yes. Cordless and motorized operation remove the hazard entirely, and we specify one or the other as standard in any room a child uses.
There is no honest answer to that before we have measured. Price moves with fabric, size, lining, hardware, and motorization. The consultation and the written quote are both free.
Every shade here was measured in someone's home and cut to those openings. Six kinds, one job each.
Four steps, one team, and no surprises at the end of it.
A short conversation about the windows, the light, and how you actually use the space.
A designer visits, measures every opening precisely, and brings fabrics to see in your own light.
